Additional Charges
Delivery / Collection Service
Round-the-clock delivery and collection of cars.
- Free delivery within city limits with Hertz locations during working hours.
- For outside city limits the charge is € 0.60 per klm. There are fixed charges from: Sofia to Plovdiv € 60; to Bourgas € 108; to Varna € 144.
Refuelling charge
Missing fuel is charged € 1.56 per litre plus € 18 refuelling charge.
Additional driver charge
- € 4.80 per day, not more than € 36 per rental.
Airport Service Charge
- 10% of the rental agreement value for rental starting at airport location.
Vignette tax:
- Rentals are subject to a charge of €1.80 per rental day for vignette tax.
Baby seats
- Available for € 4.80 per day, not more than € 36 per rental.
Snow Chains
- Available for € 4.80 per day, not more than € 36 per rental.
After hours charge
For rentals after working hours of a location the charges are:
- Up to one hour: € 21.60
- Up to two hours: € 27.60
- Over two hours: € 34.80
Rent-it-here / Leave-it-there:
This option is available upon request at time of booking and is applicable only between Hertz locations in Bulgaria. Drop off charge is € 0.60 per klm. There are fixed charges from: Sofia to Plovdiv € 60; to Bourgas € 108; to Varna € 144.
The service if free of charge between Hertz locations within the city limits.
Chauffeur service
This service is available only for car groups F, G, K, U, W.
Travelling abroad
Leaving the boarders of Bulgaria is a subject to a prior written approval by Autotechnica Ltd.
